TERMS and CONDITIONS
By choosing to order hand-made stationery you indicate your understanding that each piece is subject to subtle variation. This is part of the charm of your stationery and does not affect your statutory rights.
PAYMENT
i No work will commence until the stated amount is received in full by Hitched Stationery.
PROOF READING
ii Though we will endeavour to correct any and all grammatical errors we find, you are responsible for the proof reading of any text/copy at the final proof stage. We will not proceed with printing until we have received a proof signed, dated and approved as correct. In the absence of a signed proof we will not proceed with printing.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
iii If you cancel your order, a cancellation fee is payable as follows:
a 0% of the amount paid if the order is cancelled prior to any work commencing (ie: no proof prepared, no assembly of items begun).
b 100% of the amount paid if the order is cancelled after completion of /on delivery of finished items
c If the order is cancelled during the make-up of finished items, Hitched Stationery reserves the right to
determine an appropriate refund pending an examination of the amount of work carried out up to the point of cancellation. If you are in doubt about which items you are ordering it is strongly recommended you ask for a copy prior to placing an order.
IF SOMETHING IS WRONG
iv In the unlikely event of work delivered and found to be subject to change(s) to the agreed text which was (were) carried out without the client’s approval in writing or by fax, the client shall be entitled to alterations to the items OR replacement of the items as deemed appropriate by Hitched, free of charge, subject to any such changes being brought to our attention within 48 hours of delivery.
DELIVERY
v Hitched Stationery shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage occurring in transit via any delivery, courier or shipping company employed to deliver your order, nor consequential loss(es) as a result of same. We will take every care to ensure safe and appropriate packaging and delivery methods are used.
HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE?
vi a Delivery is subject to a) the prompt receipt of your payment and signed confirmation of order b) your prompt return of proof(s) and the quantity and extent of any amendments thereto; also d) availability of stock. ALL orders are subject to a 28-day standard lead time: we will endeavour to complete all orders within 28 days of receipt of order (being the date when any cheque is cleared or card payment is processed). If you have a specific deadline in mind this must be brought to our attention BEFORE any order is placed.
b Please note our lead time may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control such as postal strike, delayed paper delivery or unavailable materials, staff sickness and Royal Mail/courier error. We will contacted you if, at any point, there is an anticipated problem with the execution of an order and you will be kept informed of progress thereafter as appropriate.
c Under no circumstances shall Hitched be liable for any consequential loss or damages arising from the late delivery of items and it remains your responsibility to order in good time for your event.
vii The copyright in the design and layout of the work is retained by J E Morgan in perpetuity.
Challenges to or breaches of copyright have been and will be vigorously pursued.
